Terms and Conditions

These terms are between TalentOnTap Pty. Ltd. (ACN 114 020 558) (TalentOnTap/we/us/our) and the Employer (you/your) and specify the terms upon which TalentOnTap will provide services to you unless new Terms and Conditions are notified to you in writing.

 

Acceptance of terms and conditions:

Verbal confirmation, fax confirmation or email confirmation will be considers as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Here in acceptance of these terms and conditions will be considered as “Listing”

* A cancellation fee of $500+GST applies should you cancel prior to 15 working days of listing without  a shortlist or after 15 days if a shortlist has been provided.  Cancellation fees do not apply should you cancel within 48 hours of listing, however the listing fee is applicable

 

Payment is required when:

  • When your job is listed you will be invoiced a fee both the Listing Fee and the Shortlisting Fee for the service you have chosen. The Listing fee and is not refundable or transferable.
  • A Shortlist fee is payable at the provision of an “Acceptable Shortlist” under the terms specified as ‘Acceptable Shortlist” (ShortlistPLUS)
  • A placement fee is payable when an offer made by you is verbally accepted. (ShortlistHIRE)
  • Additional placements (more than one) hired within 6 months of the shortlist being provided, will be charged at the same rate as a Shortlisting Fee for ShortlistPLUS.  For ShortlistHIRE, an additional Placement Fee applies.
  • In the event of non payment of its fees, TalentOnTap reserves the right to pass on and collect any fees or charges incurred in the collection of the outstanding debt including any legal or collection agency costs.
  • All invoices are payable within seven (7) days of their date.

Cost Not Included

The following additional services are available at additional cost:

  • Advertising.  Additional advertising (above and beyond standard job boards) is available at additional cost.  This includes press advertising, boutique job boards, Google Ads and Refresh Programs.
  • Online Psychometric testing is available. Pricing will depend on services required.
  • Online Skills testing is available. $50+GST per test per candidate.
  • Police Checking available is available for $75.00+GST.
  • Qualification Verification is available for $125.00+ GST.

What is a Shortlist?

TalentOnTap defines a shortlist as at least two and up to six candidates who meet the “Key Selection Criteria” (see below) as agree in the briefing and defined prior to listing.  Shortlist candidates will be provided no later than 15 working days of listing (though we will aim at 10 days for most roles).

 

What is a Placement?

A placement is a position which is offered and the offer is verbally accepted by a candidate.  For ShortlistHIRE where Placement fees apply, they are invoiced on acceptance and applicable on offer acceptance.

 

Candidate Sourcing 

All roles will be advertised on major job boards at TalentOnTap’s discretion.  All jobs are advertised on SEEK.com.au.  TalentOnTap will also source candidates via its website and by searching its database.  Additional sourcing via press or other media is available at additional cost.

 

Key Selection Criteria

Shortlists will be provided that meet the key selection criteria agreed at listing or during the process.  Key selection may include:

  • Salary
  • Qualifications
  • Licenses
  • Knowledge and Skills

Key Selection Criteria will be assessed using the candidate resumes and assessing them by phone. TalentOnTap will not be responsible for any errors, omissions or deceptions that may be contained in the resumes submitted by candidates.

 

Extensions (ShortlistPLUS)

If after ten working days a shortlist has not been provided to you and the campaign has not been cancelled by you, we will automatically extend the listing period for a further 5 working days without notification to you and without additional charge.

 

If the campaign has run for twenty working days, we will charge you an additional $480 + GST   should your wish to continue with the process.

 

Acceptable Shortlist

A shortlist shall be deemed acceptable if:

  • The client hires any candidates on the shortlist.
  • If two or more candidates on the shortlist meet the key selection criteria as agree to at listing regardless of whether or not they are hired.
  • If a shortlist is presented and no feedback is received within two working days of it being presented.

Should you feel that the candidates represented in the shortlist fail to meet the key selection criteria as specified at listing or during the shortlisting process, you are obliged to clearly demonstrate how they feel to meet the criteria.  TalentOnTap reserves the right to determine if the criteria have been satisfied.

 

Guarantee

ShortlistHIRE ONLY – If within 90 days of commencement, a candidate hired by the client using ShortlistHIRE leaves the client company for any of the following reasons, a replacement guarantee applies.

  • Resigns
  • Is terminated within the bounds of the legislation

This guarantee does not apply to candidates hired on a contract or casual basis and does not apply to cases where the candidate’s role has been made redundant.

 

This is a replacement only guarantee.  TalentOnTap will make reasonable efforts to ensure the role is refilled within a reasonable period of time.  Should additional advertising be required, this will be at the clients cost.

 

This guarantee should is replacement only and can in no way be construed as a credit or money back guarantee.  It does not apply to shortlist services such as ShortlistPlus.

 

Terms:

All invoices are to be paid within 7 working days.  Listing fees and any additional advertising fees are due immediately after listing, while shortlisting fees are payable at the conclusion of the process.

 

Cancellation Policy:

The Listing Fee is not refundable under any circumstance.

 

ShortlistPlus

If you cancel the service within 48hrs of listing, no further charges will apply.  If the service is cancelled after 48hrs of listing the shortlisting fee will apply.

 

Shortlist Hire

A cancellation fee of $500+GST applies should you cancel prior to 15 working days of listing without a shortlist or after 15 days if a shortlist has been provided.  Cancellation fees do not apply should you cancel within 48 hours of listing.
